How to Join
The Maryland Token And Medal Society is a privately funded non-profit organization, supported by membership dues and contributions.
Applications for individual and institutional membership are welcome. The Society’s governing board reviews all applications.
Online applications for membership and renewals are available for download below. Membership applications may be mailed, or scanned and emailed.
Benefits
The MD TAMS Journal, a quarterly publication, is well illustrated and provides the latest information on Maryland tokens, store cards, die sinkers, new varieties, merchants, and medals.
The purpose of the MD TAMS Journal is to provide a scholarly exchange of Maryland exonumia related information among its members and researchers.
Dues
Annual dues are $10 for Regular, Junior, and Institutional Memberships. All members receive the quarterly Maryland TAMS Journal. For new members who join after July 1st of a year, the cost is $5.00 for the remainder of the year. Membership years run from January to December each year.
Regular
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be of good moral character.
Junior
Applicants must be from 10 to 18 years of age and of good moral character. A parent or guardian must sign submitted applications.
Institutional
Interested societies, clubs, museums, research groups, etc. may apply for institutional membership.
